Hello Everyone!

If you have any old winter clothing that can be donated to our school we would very much appreciate it. Clothing will be going to local refugees.

Spa basket donations are due Nov. 15th.

We have a new Holiday Fundraiser! Students will be selling cookie dough and gift cards to friends and family. All funds raised will go toward new technology for SJA. I have already 4 orders of cookie dough and counting! All fundraising orders and money are due by Nov. 18!

UOI:   Today in UOI we learned how light travels. We learned the differences between artificial light and natural light and how important it is to have light in our lives. Students completed some worksheets to demonstrate their understanding. Below is the link for the video we watched.

Science Fair: Today we talked about creating a question that the students will investigate while they conduct their experiment. The question is the purpose of their project. We also discussed how we can see changes in their experiment by creating different graphs for the 3 experiments that they will conduct.  Students will conduct the experiment at home, and all other work will be completed during class time I will be handing out due dates by the end of this week.

Math:  Math test have been completed. We will begin our next unit tomorrow on Area and Perimeter.
