Good Evening Parents!

Please remember that there is no school on Friday!

UOI: We have completed our art with Mrs. Hocevar's class. The students learned about primary colours and that we can mix them to create secondary colours. Take a look at the art work!












Please have the children reread the information on the Physical Regions in Canada that can be found in their Green UOI folders.  See below for a practice quiz.

Math: We learned today what growing, shrinking and repeating patterns are. Students wrote their own patterns for practice too. They also learned new terminology such as "term" and the "core".

Spelling:Lesson 4 is due tomorrow. Spelling Test is also tomorrow.

Language: Today students began the research process so they can write their own reports. Students worked in groups, created 4 questions and then researched the answers to the 4 questions they created. Tomorrow, we will review how to write a paragraph and that each of their 4 questions will be a different paragraph filled with information.
French: No Spelling test this week.

Music: Students are asked to use their white music folders to review musical notes and practice their recorders. Please return these folders daily.

Anne of Green Gables: We did not read any Anne of Green Gables today.
