Happy Friday!

Good Evening Parents!

This morning we had a Yoga House Game. Congratulations to Theta for winning house points! Some of our classmates participated in the games. Great job at being Risk-Takers!

Another big Congratulations to our Inquirer Award Winners! Way to ask questions and seek information and new learning!

UOI: Today we completed learning about the Physical regions in Canada. We read about the Appalachians and the Hudson Bay lowlands. We learned that the Appalachians are apart of the Atlantic provinces and a little bit of Quebec. The main industry is fishing. The Hudson Bay Lowlands is made up of Quebec, and Northern Ontario. Their main industry is mining. Students then filled in a Venn Diagram to compare the similarities and differences of the two regions. In the afternoon we played a game called Scoot. Children were up and out of their seats reading clue cards and guessing answers. They thought it was quite hard until we took up the answers. They realized they really did know a lot of information!

Please have the children reread the information on the Physical Regions in Canada. They will be having an assessment on this topic next week. See below for a practice quiz.
