Today has been a very busy day. I was lucky to hear the students in music and they have finally began playing their recorders! They will sound beautiful by the time you all hear their sound!
Math: Today we began learning how to round numbers to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand. No homework in math but to visit the website below. We will continue to round numbers tomorrow.

UOI/Language: Students began working on All About Me paragraphs today. I'm excited to learn about their likes and about their families. They will look great beside the selfies they drew!
Title pages for our UOI, are due on Friday! We would also like to fill our UOI board with post cards from different provinces and territories in Canada. Students are encouraged to ask friends and/or family that live in another province or territory to send them a post card to add to our UOI board. We would love to add some to our board!

I have sent home Scholastic orders for the month of September. All orders must be into me on Sept. 28. NO CASH will be accepted. You may pay by cheque or order online. Please send me an email if an online order is more convenient for you.
After school forms have also been sent home today. Please fill them out and return by September 23rd.
