Hurray Hurray today is Friday!

Good Evening Parents!


I have the most exciting news for all of you today! Our class won the pizza party for the most students having their clothing labelled! YAY!! I will be sure to keep you informed when we will be having our pizza lunch!
UOI: Students continued on their chart papers today and then presented the region they became experts on. The other group practiced taking notes on what they other group was presenting. Well done to both groups on being patient and making sure their friends had the important information needed to review.

We would also like to  fill our UOI board with post cards from different provinces and territories in Canada. Students are encouraged to ask friends and/or family that live in another province or territory to send them a post card to add to our UOI board. We would love to add some to our board!

Provinces and Territory Quiz on Monday! Please use the websites below to study for the quiz. Students will be required to fill out a map of Canada with the provinces, territories and capital cities. Students will also be required to name the oceans and Great Lakes. We will be learning the rest of these topics this week. I have also sent home a quiz review sheet so the students can start studying at home. .

Anne of Green Gables: Today we read Chapter 5. Students are to complete 2 worksheet pages for homework which they started in class.
