UOI: We tried watching a short clip on Canada today. It was not loading properly so please see the link before so your children can watch it at home. After the malfunction we discussed different symbols that we see in Canada. The students made create predictions and were able to express why they thought these symbols represented Canada.

Title pages for our UOI, are due tomorrow! We would also like to fill our UOI board with post cards from different provinces and territories in Canada. Students are encouraged to ask friends and/or family that live in another province or territory to send them a post card to add to our UOI board. We would love to add some to our board!

Language: We have officially began Anne of Green Gables! The students were really captivated by the first chapter and we are so excited to continue reading. If you have a copy of the novel at home please send it to school so your kids can follow along. I have sent home a few comprehension questions to complete for homework, and they are also below for reference.
